Click the EpisodeLock icon in your browser toolbar, choose how many episodes are allowed per day, then save your settings. The extension will apply that limit automatically on supported streaming sites.

Open the EpisodeLock settings popup and enter a 4-digit PIN. You can update it any time from the same place. Keep this PIN private, since it controls unlocking and reset actions.

EpisodeLock pauses playback when the limit is reached. To continue watching, a parent can enter the PIN to unlock or reset for the day. Without the PIN, playback stays locked.

Yes. Episode limits refresh automatically each day, so your family starts with a fresh allowance.

EpisodeLock currently supports Netflix, Disney+, Prime Video, YouTube, and YouTube Kids. If you want support for another platform, send us a request via GitHub Issues.

If you forget your PIN, you will need to reset the extension settings. Depending on your browser, removing and reinstalling the extension can clear local settings. If you are unsure, contact support and include your browser name and version.

- Refresh the streaming page after installing the extension.
- Try disabling and re-enabling EpisodeLock in your browser's extensions page.
- Confirm your browser is up to date.
